Getting Started

1. Download and install WWW Reference Maker for Windows. The installation will install a folder called "WWW Reference Maker" within your Program Files folder.

You do NOT have to restart your machine after installation of WWW Reference Maker.

Launch WWW Reference Manager. You add references to the list by simply clicking the "Get WWW Reference" button. This extracts URL and Title information from the front most page displayed by your browser. It will also extract the source of this page (and clean it - removing all HTML tags - if you have checked the "Auto Clean Source" checkbox) and display the source.

From this source you can readily copy and paste other pertinent reference items such as Author(s), Publication Title, Publication Date, and Version (if available).

Once you have all references listed, you format them by choosing a format style and clicking the "Build References" button.

NOTE: WWW Reference Maker will work for 30 minute periods while in trial mode. You can register WWW Reference Maker online using the Register link above or with the "Register" window in the application. By registering online, you will immediately receive your registration key.

How to Remove WWW Reference Maker

To remove WWW Reference Maker, simply run the uninstaller. You can then drag any remaining items to the trash. (such as saved database files).
